Author, Cheesemaker, Brewer. Keeps chooks and Highlands.
I’m fortunate to share my life with my wonderful partner, some Highland Cattle, a flock of Welsummer Chickens and all manner of wildlife that inhabit our 100 acres of paradise in the North East of Victoria, Australia.
I’ve always loved books and can become so engrossed I’m oblivious to what’s going on around me. When I was a child my mother used to say a bomb could go off and I wouldn’t hear it.
My reading tastes are somewhat eclectic, encompassing historical fiction, murder mystery, paranormal, apocalyptic, psychological thriller, humour, science fiction, even a biography or two. As my motto says: So many books, so little time.
I’m a gadget girl. I just love technology. One of my more recent additions is a Google Home Mini in my writing studio. So handy for finding synonyms, or setting reminders to look something up. Saves me breaking my concentration. I confess there are also another three of them scattered through the house.
When I’m not writing, I can be found making cheese, preserving our home grown fruits and vegetables, planning our next holiday, or even building model railway scenery.
Life is good.
